Rhinoplasty and doing your best
It has been so uplifting watching the Olympics. I have been hugely impressed by the modesty of some of our champions and by the dedication and overwhelming commitment of those who did not achieve the medal they hoped for. As many commentators have said, they did their best and should face no criticism from themselves or others. I saw on a TV piece from Weymouth that there is a quote inscribed on a wall in the competitors sailing centre “if you have done your best then you have already won”. Sometimes things are beyond our control, changes in the wind sailing, the healing process in rhinoplasty. We do not always get the result we want but it certainly isn’t for want of trying.
